Tya was our second addition to Gaia Lykaia.
She is an excellent bitch, which we got at an
age of 2½ years old, carrying with her a
Hungarian Champion title. As Vihar, she too
started her show carrier with a Best Baby in
Show title in the Budapest CACIB of
November 2001, followed by a Best Junior in
Show when she reached 11 months in age. Her
only handicap is that in most shows she has to
compete against Vihar for the Breed, robbing her
of her chances to get BOB & BOG titles.
Nevertheless, she has managed on occasions to
take the Breed and then the Group.
It
is this quality that Tya possesses that led Mrs. Elke Peper to write for
her in
her evaluation:
"Excellent type. Correct head. Long neck. Very
well angulated. Good bones. Excellent coat.
Moves very freely."
The same quality and excellence of movement led
Mrs. Sonia Falletti [I] to give her her
second CACIB in the Sofia CACIB [BG] in May
2004.
Amongst her success has been in the ATKO CAC
Show in Athens [HE], where under the judgment of
Mr. Francesco Palmieri, Tya won the Breed
and then went on to take Group V, competing
against an all male competition of Akitas,
Malamuts, Samoyeds, Norwegian Elk Hounds &
Chow-Chows. Her winning made us all very proud,
as it is very rare to see bitches take the
Group, especially in Group V where male dogs are
even more pronounced.
