Gaia was the first of our lycenes to enter the world of humans in our hands. She was a beautiful puppy
and a great playmate to her littermate GAIA LYKAIA Arkadia "Lykaia". Together, they wrecked the House of GAIA LYKAIA quite a few times!
They were both very intelligent and sweet young girls but they soon had to go their own ways. Lykaia stayed with the Pack, while Gaia
traveled south to her new home and to her new family with Barbara and Babis. Although it is
customary in the layout of their pages to talk now a bit more
about the dog's morphology, at Gaia's case we will dedicate the next paragraph to Babis & Barbara.
Babis and Barbara are that sort of people who dedicate themselves completely to whatever they do. And although Gaia came to them
as a "replacement" to their beloved Siberian boy who had left them a few months before, they completely
immersed her in their pure love
providing for her a perfect life. And in return, Gaia gave them her unconditional love with her every
heart bit and her total devotion. They each
filled up each other's life in a very special way. And out of this union, a
wonderful show dog emerged, one that gave them many and
wonderful victories.
Thank you very much Barbara & Babis for all that you've done!
At her last show, under the excellent handling of Babis, Gaia caught the eye of International Specialist judge Mrs. Sonia Falleti
who at awarding her the title of "Best of Breed" and subsequently at the Group, the title of Best Group V wrote in her judgment
sheet:
"Good head. Very feminine. Good ears and eyes. The neck is solid. Good shoulders, top line and
croup. The legs are well angulated
behind. The movement is solid. The tail is well carried in movement."
At the previous day, Israeli FCI judge Mr. Avi Marshak wrote before awarding her the titles of "Best of Breed" and subsequently Best of Group V:
"Elegant bitch with correct proportions and bones, very
feminine head, correct eyes, bite, ears and mask. Excellent topline, angulations.
Deep chest, straight and parallel front legs. Correct coat and colour. Excellent movement" |
