Announcement of Planned Mating of Autumn 2008
GAIA LYKAIA is proud to announce that it is scheduling a matting between Int. Ch. Gaia Lykaia Arkadia & Int. Ch. Tangotara's Bay of Thunder, to take place in mid Autumn.

Absolute BEST IN SHOW for Boreas [July 2008]
With the momentum of a rollercoaster Gaia Lykaia Boreas has swept the Show rings since the beginning of the year, starting with a Best Junior in Show at the Sofia International CACIB in 16 of February 2008 and stopping for the summer with an all-rounder Best in Show and Best Junior in Show at the CAC Show Ioannina

GL Breaking Thunder wins Med. Junior Winner 'o8
In this year's Mediterranean Winner Show, held in Lisboa on July the 13th, our boy Gaia Lykaia Breaking Thunder won the Junior title of the Breed, qualifying at the same time for Crufts 2008, under Judge Luís Pinto Teixeira (PT)

Absolute BEST IN SHOW SPECIALITY [March 2008]
In a spectacular Speciality Show, our boy Vihar wins the Breed and goes on to win an Absolute BISS, while at the same time, Gaia Lykaia Boreas wins the Best Junior of Breed title and goes on to win the Reserve Best Junior in Show placement.

Major Website Update [December 2007]
Just before the turn of the year and after almost a whole year, our site is finally updated! More than 2,000 files are currently on line and increasing by the day! Almost all sections of the site have been updated and upgraded. So, enjoy your browsing in the GAIA LYKAIA domain!

New Extended icon added in the web site
Keep an eye out for the extended icon in various places throughout the site. The extended icon will lead you to unique sub-pages with short stories around our kennel and our dogs. The extended icons with time will increase in numbers, as more subject will become available. To aid you, all new subjects will be also posted in the "Latest News" section of our Home page.

Ioli wins reserve Best Puppy in Show  [October 2007]
As our "B" Litter hits the show rings, we get a first taste of things to come. Gaia Lykaia Bewildered bewitches her judges and wins in 2 consecutive shows Best Puppy in Show placements.

Tango wins Serbian Championship  [September 2007]
With an astonishing presentation, Tangotara's Bay of Thunders, wins in Serbia his final CAC towards his Serbian Champion title and as a bonus also wins Group V!

As our young lykaen evolves she begins to show her great potential.

Unique wins Best Baby Puppy in Show  [June 2007]
As Unique debuts in the the show rings, we get a first taste of things to come. In her first show, at a ring of 14 baby puppies, she gets the ultimate score of Best Baby Puppy in Show.

A Eurasian girl joins the pack  [June 2007]
With an unexpected arrival, our pack expands into Eurasier territory. Foxfire Unique at Gaia, out of World Champion '07 Foxfire Barney & Uppsala des Légendes de Retz joined us in the midst of our "B" Litter, filling everybody with joy and anticipation!

And the story starts with Gaia & Lykaia
As it was only appropriate, in the hour of the wolves our alpha lykean Tya gave birth to the first two GAIA LYKAIA lykeans. As the hour of the wolves was leading into the new day, so Tya led us into the realm of GAIA LYKAIA, sealing the first cycle that started almost 3 years ago with Vihar. The future looks so bright!

Another win in "Akropolis Trophy"
Two days after his arrival to GAIA LYKAIA, Tango has his debut at Hellenic shows winning on December 3rd and 4th, at the prestigious International Dog Shows of Athens "Akropolis Trophy", from the Junior Class at only 13 months of age!
